How Foundation Dashboard Works

The GWTI Foundation Dashboard allows access to information not usually seen. It provides information for a wide range of roles responsible for the performance and contribution of buildings to business success. The Foundation Dashboard uses unique to GWTInsight technology.

Technical specifications

Works with GWTI Observer.

Uses a unique combination of software to access the GWTI Observer, drive data collection, storage and maintain data flow.

Data is standardised.

Data is standardised to lowest component level facilitating comparisons across equipment, systems and buildings. Users may drill down through the dashboard to individual systems, zones or buildings.

Data is classified.

The classification follows industry rules aligning to BIM specifications.

Customisable.

The dashboard allows clients to select data to view, so that they may set priorities for zones or systems.

Presents data in a series of line graphs.

Visualisation of data in a variety of line graphs that may be cross referenced to more than one system or zone.

Works in real time and over time.

In most cases data is presented in seconds (not more than 60 seconds depending on strength of connections) and supports early problem detection, warnings and alerts. Because data is compressed and stored efficiently a historic picture of performance can also be presented.

Works on single buildings or portfolios.

Any number of buildings may be accessed via the dashboard.  A portfolio view and drill down to each building is made possible.

Can be used on multiple devices.

An unlimited number of users may access the dashboard simultaneously. It runs on modern day browsers and Windows, Mac and Android tablets, laptops and desktops.

May be branded in client colours and logo’s.

For organisations using the dashboard across portfolio’s the dashboard may be branded using colour and logo’s.

Embedded in clients web infrastructure.

The software supporting the dashboard can be seamlessly embedded in a client’s web infrastructure or held separately in the cloud providing a secure environment for the data and the analysis.

Easy to use.

Designed to require little or no training and uses an approach intuitive to computer users.

Creates new service opportunities.

When combined with other capabilities the Foundation Dashboard and Observer offer opportunities to extend existing services, create new propositions or automate existing activities. See Projects & Uses
